I have to say that I love Vogue Nippon right now! The cover is fabulous... Raquel and Vuitton? Heaven. The editorials are also amazing, one in particular is 42 pages of Raquel and Eniko in Brazil. But Vogue Nippon also has it's defects, such as the text overload, and the reoccuring nightmare of the 'G', which, this month, doesn't seem too bad, it seems as if it's framing Raquel's face. I am sad that I haven't received my September issue yet... foreign magazines are great, but super slow. It's a love / hate relationship. Enjoy!

Cover: Vogue Italia September 2009
The title says it all. Unexpected. This cover was definitely Unexpected. The rumor for the cover was, 3 girls, 2 blonde, 1 brunette. The real cover features 1 blonde, Sasha Pivovarova, and 1 boy, Ash. So this raises the question: Did Vogue Italia leek a fake rumor, all to laugh at us? Or did they have to fix it because the rumor was let out? Well, it's not very good, no matter what was supposed to be. I for one am glad that they used colour finally, but it's a little hobo-ish, literally. I am also getting tired of Sasha gracing the cover of Vogue Italia, twice in a year, no thanks, and this is coming from a Sasha worshiper! Well, the content better be good, but I'm buying anyways, because a magazine addict doesn't really have a choice when it comes to Vogue Italia.
Cover: Elle UK October 2009
Elle UK's October issue features Lily Allen. This is Elle UK's London issue, hence the saying 'London Calling'. They chose British designers to clothe Lily for the cover. I must say, Lily doesn't look that great, I wish she had her normal hair. I do like the blue background though, and the dress is beautiful. And do I spy a Fashion Week poster? I can't wait to see what that will look like. Overall not a great cover, but I'll be buying it anyways. Hope the content is good as September!
Elle International
Elle and Elle UK aren't the only Elle, you know. In fact, some of the best Elle covers, never become widely know, because they are from France, Russia, even Romania, pictured left. I've decided to pick out some of my favorite Elle covers, worldwide. Even though most of them are covered with text, I love them. Enjoy!

Some of my illustrations
So, I'm sorry for not posting yesterday, but inspiration didn't strike. But now as I'm writing this, I just got a few more ideas for posts. Anyways, In my free time, I illustrate runway and backstage images. I thought I'd show you some of them, because I would very much like to hear what you guys think. Please comment! PS. I know, I just figured out that I put 'Rue du Rail' on my image, when infact, it's supposed to be 'Rue du Mail'.
Cover: Love Fall 2009 Nº2
Katie Grand disappoints me. Leaving Pop was the worst thing she has ever done. Love is terrible, and now, Pop is becoming the same way. But it's more youth on the covers, but thank god not as young as Tavi. I, for one, am not interested in young celebrities, I'm more interested in models, even if they aren't that interesting. Stick the celebrities with an article in the back, and put the pretty models on the cover. And even after putting celebrites, they chose people that I've never heard of. Who are Coco Sumner and Alex Heartly? Have you ever heard of them? Sorry, but this cover get's a no from me. How about you?
Cover: AnOther magazine Fall 2009
I personally have never boughten an issue of AnOther, but I do plan to start with a bang! All 4 of the limited edition covers are fabulous. The concept is a style icon paired with a designer, and to celebrate how far fashion has come. The icons include Carine Roitfeld, Christina Ricci, and more. The designers include Chanel Haute Couture, Viktor and Rofl, and more. The covers feauture only 4 of the incon-designer pairs, Katie and Alaïa, Vanessa and Chanel, Kate and Galliano, and Natalie and Lanvin. Can't wait to see the full issue, which will be widely available from September 17th and available only at Liberty in London from the 10th. Enjoy!
Spread: A little Kate Moss lovin'

Cheap and Chic: Rodarte for Target
I have gotten some new pictures revealing some pieces from Rodarte from tFS. I must say I love most of the pieces from the previews. The camisole thats on the left would be my second favorite, my first would be the black (or dark blue) dress, first picture in the gallery. I do not however like the jean jacket. They are too tackey, even if they've became a big trend in the fashion world. Gross. But is that a tulle skirt I spy with that piece of ugly? Cool. The next picture, and the last, doesn't do much for me, just a rack of clothes. I like the pink colour, but I don't like the prints, and the yellow is not my favorite. Enjoy!
